Although I find nothing to disagree with in Ohler's Chapter 2, I find the authors use of describing the digital story examples a bit nauseating. Why not include a link, and let me watch the digital story instead?

... then completely fail to show them?
The authors printed digital story examples are anything but, in my opinion. He might as well have been describing somebodies dreams or musings. His point is almost completely lost, because he tells in text instead of showing; using technology.
